Occupational psychology is a complex, diverse and at the same time universal part of applied psychology, which covers various aspects of human resource management, combining scientific research with its practical application. Work psychology examines issues related both to the organization itself and to the relationships between employees and their superiors, other colleagues or family and friends. This field focuses on observation and analysis of individual behaviors, attitudes and actions of people working individually and in a team. The subject of our research is behavior of people in any work environment.
Our Department constantly strives to provide comprehensive and specialized teaching with particular emphasis on continuous improvement of quality, support and infrastructure (including computer rooms, laboratories, audiovisual media, individual consultations and practical courses) and to adapt our programs to the latest global scientific and European standards defined by the European Higher Education Area.
In relation to the scientific and social impact of Occupational Psychology, promoting empirical research is an important mechanism that allows dynamic development of our students.
The Department of Occupational Psychology strives to cooperate with universities around the world and maintains active relations with social and professional partners (public service, administration, professional associations, companies, centers and institutions), resulting in fruitful cooperation in the field of education, research and innovation.
